Scrapping Eclipse
Has anyone heard yet about plans to scrap Eclipse and revert to the original format of DA? Eclipse is so bad and the "owners" must know this from the extremely bad reviews. Where are DA members turning to as an alternative? I really would like to know and this is a call for help. Please, friends, talk to me.
Friends, advice please!
Dear friends, For a very long time up to the point at which "eCIiPsE" became compulsory, my stats showed that I had received almost exactly 25,000 favourites for my deviations. Suddenly with "eCIiPsE", they now show only about 15,000. I queried this with DA and they replied it is definitely about 15,000 and asked why I would think that this figure could possibly be incorrect! Any ideas about what has gone wrong with DA and any similar problems? I really would appreciate your ideas! I thought that "eCIiPsE" was bad enough without this but I had been prepared to try and cope with it somehow! Thanks, Love from Dave

Trying to make icons,e.g. :iconheartpinkplz: HELP!
I am just using this journal to practise the emoticons I'm used to doing. I seem to be lost. The keystrokes do not work in the same way in "eclipse". Can anyone help? I must be doing something wrong but DeviantArt SHOULD have given us the new instructions instead of forcing us to work it out for ourselves. This is REALLY bad behaviour on their part. :iconheartpurpleplz: :huggle: :heart: :iconheartpinkplz: :iconheartyellowplz: :iconheartwhiteplz: Could I please ask my friends (i.e. you) if you know how to create these great emoticons using ":" then "icon" then the name of the emoticon, then "plz" and finally ":" , e.g. :iconheartpinkplz: T H A N K I E S ! ! ! :huggle:
